heres the ribbon menu expanded.
thanks to some future UI vid for inspiration for colors and such.

there is more to follow.
i will be designing some apps with this interface.

(mockups only im afraid). no coding skills :(

wow this is amazing!!! not only does it look beautiful but it also seems totally functional. Get a patent on it before Microsoft copies it ;)

haha... Well i actually designed this so MS may get inspired :P
And you cant patent a concept :P can u.

Also I would love it if they take any hint from this as i am a big MS fan.

This reminds me a lot of the designs Microsoft used in their 2020 Future Vision video last year.

While we won't see anything like this in Windows 8, I can definitely see something like this in 9. Windows 8 looks like it's shaping up to be a transition OS in regards to UI dynamics and interaction.

yes you are right. I was really inspired by the green white and muted brown color combination and theres this app in it. It uses a side bar for title. I took that idea and played with it. Added ribbon in there and made all these simple flat white icons :)
