Windows 8 Searchbar

Hi guys. I have one problem with windows 8. With no start menu. I cant search for songs and other stuff while watching something in desktop mode. As when i press start. It will take me to the start screen and break the flow.

So to fix that problem. I have made a concept. It will work wonders if this is implemented. I also designed the superbar to be metro.

in a way. Making it like other metro apps. Where the top and bottom areas are for the desktop app. The bottom will show running apps. Time and other things we know about. But as you can see there is no start button. (as it is moved to the charms menu). to search for anything. We will slide down from top to reveal the searchbar. This bar will be width adjustable. And it will allow us to search for anything without breaking our flow. The button next to the go button will open the search results in explorer window.
