The music app is a mess right now
didn't u get windows 8?
if u havnt get it now for just 40$ before 1st of Jan... or better yet.. get a retail copy from some store selling it at a discount!
im saying this because windows 8 will get many updates. For free!! it is bound to become a better OS over time.
I do have Windows 8 actually but I got it mostly for the under-the-hood improvements. I try to avoid the Metro interface as much as possible because it just doesn't fit into my usual mouse+keyboard workflow. I'm also not keen on having to log in to a Microsoft account just to use some basic features.
I do like the Metro look when it's done right but unfortunately it isn't most of the time and feels particularly inconsistent when thrown in with a desktop environment.
Nevertheless, your app looks great.
yes the rumors are that MS is going to blend in the two in the future. They are planning to make the desktop as flat as their Metro environment.
